HangDog hosts and participates in several competitions.

HangDog Winter Bouldering Series

Every year HangDog hosts the Winter Bouldering Series. Don't worry if you aren't competitive, the series is also social and relaxed, with grades starting from VE (like climbing a really fun ladder). There's something for everyone, with recreational, elite and under 16 categories.

National Cup

HangDog also co-hosts the National Cup for the NZ Climbing Federation. This one is not for beginners. This is the elite at their peak. An extreme show of ability. Spectators welcome but don't expect much room to move.
