HangDog Social Club

Here at HangDog we are all about community. The HangDog Social Club (HSC)is the focal point for regular climbers at HangDog. There are three main areas of focus for the HangDog Social Club

Meeting new people and having fun

Obviously clubs are all about people. HangDog Social Club is and open club that is always on the look out for new members. You don't have to be a great climber to join either. HSC organizes events through HangDog to allow like minded people to get together. The first of these was the rock climbing movie night held on the 24th of May. The Winter Bouldering Competition is currently being held every second Wednesday. In summer we plan to do a few outdoor trips to various rock climbing places as well.

Improving the climbing experience

The HSC will be how climbers shape HangDog into the place they want it to be. One of the first initiatives will be a booking notice via email. Every few days we will send a booking notice to alert regular climbers of large night time bookings at HangDog.

Improving climbing ability

HSC will provide some volunteer led workshops. We will take suggestions from club members to work out what needs to be learned. Hopefully the first workshop will take place soon. Possibly with correct spotting technique as the subject.
