Regionals
The Dynomites Climbing Club is hosting a Regional Youth Competition at HangDog this year.
The competition is aimed at children and entry level climbers. It will be a fun session of top-roped climbing (normal climbing). Everyone is welcome.
Who
Climbers of all climbing levels are welcome to participate. The age categories are:
- Under 12*
- Under 16*
- Under 18
* Very experienced climbers will be bumped up a grade to make sure the competition is suitable for entry level climbers.

When
The afternoon of Sunday 22nd of May, 2011. Probably starting around 1:00pm and running to about 5pm or 6pm.
Where
Your favourite Indoor Climbing Gym...HangDog on Hutt Rd, Petone.
How much?
The comp is very cheap. $20 for registrations received before Friday the 20th of May. Late registrations $25. $10 of this fee is transferable to a membership with the Dynomites Climbing Club that operates out of HangDog.
This fee includes gear you might need: harness, shoes and chalk.
How do I register?
The registration process is easy. Simply send an email to info@hangdog.co.nz with the following details on it:
- Climbers Name
- Climbers age
- Highest Grade Climbed if known e.g. 19
- A short description about the climbers ability. (e.g I've been climbing properly for only 2 or 3 months now)
- Contact Phone number
- Parent's Name (for people under the age of 14)
- Suburb (e.g. Kapiti Coast)
