Indoor Rock Climbing

Students love climbing. You know it. The HangDog Climbing Centre is a paradise for kids (and adults). Building self confidence, team spirit and a sense of accomplishment is what it is all about....not to mention loads of fun.

Our 14 meter high indoor wall is the perfect place to let the inner climbing animals loose. In the bouldering room, kids can climb as high as they like without a rope and still be safe. The entire floor is covered with a 700mm inflatable mattress.

To ensure the student's safety, all belayers (the person at the bottom holding the rope) must be 13 or over. Groups of children under the age of 13 need to have a adult/child ratio of about 1/4. Extra instructors can be hired to meet this need.

Unit and Achievement Standards

While HangDog is not certified to assess unit standards we can most definitely help train and instruct the students for any assessment they are going for.

• All required equipment is supplied.
• Sturdy shoes are good but not a must and loose clothing is advisable
• 2 hour session includes a 20 minute introduction by our qualified instructors and continued supervision throughout the entire session
• Max group size of 40 students
